Welcome to Northern Classic Outfitters. We are a true full service outfitter. The owner is not only a Registered Maine Guide, but also a licensed butcher and taxidermist. We can even make custom clothing from your trophy. Along with Steve's sons and staff, we have been in business for 15 years. Our facilities are all new including a butcher/taxidermy shop with a walk in cooler which is necessary to properly age your meat for that custom cut or the fresh home made sausage. Between bear, moose and deer we made over a thousand pounds of the sausage last year! Ya, its that good! Just ask our customers.

The Specialists Guide Service
The Specialists Guide Service is just what it sounds like, a professional guide service with one objective - to give you the finest hunting or fishing experience Maine has to offer. I hear a lot about ratios; I don't deal in ratios, I deal in results. If you cannot find the trip you are looking for, give me a call, and I will cater a hunt to your needs whenever possible. We have hunts for moose, bear, and deer, as well as small game and waterfowl. We also have fishing for Salmon and/or Trout. We can also set you up for Bass fishing in the Newport, Maine area. Together, my guides and I have 50 years of hunting and fishing experience in our area. This is where we live, not where we go for the hunting and fishing seasons.
