Where is the best place to eat in Butte, Montana and why?

The Uptown Cafe. It is the best food I have ever eaten. I also work there as a busser and I always hear from the customers about how good it is and people from big cities like new york say they've been to plenty high class restaurants but this is better than tjhose. the uptown serves French cuisine. They have four, three and two course meals. The four course is a choice of one of two soups made fresh everyday, clams mason, a choice of a traditional ceasar salad or a mixed green salad with trimmings according to the season, and main the main course. The three course is a choice choice of soup and choice of salad and the main course, and the one course meal is a choice of salad and main course. the one course is an early bird special that is available for customers seated before 6:30pm and changes every week. The desserts are exquisite and they are famouse for their New York style cheese cake. I would have to say that that is the best cheese cake I have ever had. They also have chocolate mouse, a pecan ball, chocolate peanut butter pie, white mouse pie with an oreo crust, and other specialy made deserts that changes week to week. If you ever in butte this would be a must to visit. - Kristina R
