How did Wyckoff, New Jersey get its name?

New Jersey got its name from the brittish coming over and naming it after the largest of the English Channels, Jersey.

The most commonly given origin for the name Wyckoff, which was the origin accepted by the town committee when the town was established, is that Wyckoff is from the Lenape word "wickoff", meaning high ground, or that it is from "wickok" meaning water. - Sara B

A lot of us teenagers go to a shopping center called Boulder Run. It has a Starbucks, Blockbuster, Nail salon, McDonalds, Blue Moon Mexican Restaurant, and many more - Casey L.
