The Barnes Family that came to the area in the 1860's. They originated from Kentucky then to Parke County, Indiana and then to Mahaska and Poweshiek Counties. Rosanna Barnes Musgrove was my 3x great grandmother. She had several brothers and Elias was one of the first the area. This would be my guess.
