I am trying to find information about my family from Fentress County, TN, around Jamestown, Allardt and Armathwaite. My father is Charles Bridges, born to Euell Bridges & Floy Louise Tompkins. Euell's father was L.C. Bridges, a minister of the Fellowship Baptist in Armathwaite. Floy's parents were Edward H. Tompkins and Maudie Bell Hull. I want to find photos of Edward Tompkins who was once deputy sheriff of Jamestown, and I need more family history of Maudie Bell Hull. I know her father was J.R. Hull and don't know who her mother was ... but I have no info on their parents. Would like to trace back as far as I can.
